This website provides a forum for promoting the use of Mathematics in understanding and exploring Spirituality. Mathematical methods have been very successful in science for investigating the world of matter and energy. The spiritual and material realms being both expressions of the same one ultimate reality, there is no reason why mathematics cannot also contribute to an enhanced understanding of our spiritual nature. The website will host articles, discussions, book reviews, and provide links to other relevant sites.
Advaita Vedanta provides an ideal starting ground for developing mathematical models of spirituality. The ‘WAVES Papers’ -which is a series of six papers available online- together present a mathematical model of spirituality based on Advaita. A first result that follows quickly from the model is the ‘Fundamental Theorem of Mathematical Spirituality’. It states that
“As an individual being grows more and more in universal, unconditional love, it suffers less and less in this world.”
